Hendrickson offers a wide range of ride heights for lift axle suspension systems. Before specifying, please read the information below so we can ensure we customize the perfect solution for you. Application ride height is calculated by taking the loaded vehicle frame to ground measurement and subtracting the loaded tire radius of the selected lift axle tire. The difference will be the application ride height. If the loaded frame to ground dimension cannot be obtained, then the application “sag” (primary suspension deflection spec plus 1” for primary tire deflection) can be subtracted from the unloaded measurement, giving a reasonable approximation of the loaded measurement. Here's a simple guide to checking outter tie rods: Start by parking your vehicle on a flat surface and turning off the engine. Next, grab hold of the outer tie rod with your hand and try to move it back and forth. There should be minimal to no play or movement. If you notice any significant looseness or play, it could indicate worn tie rod ends, which will need to be replaced. Additionally, you can perform a visual inspection of the tie rod boots, which cover the tie rod ends. Ensure they are intact and free from tears or cracks, as damaged boots can allow contaminants to enter the tie rod assembly, leading to premature wear. If there is a jeep with 3 axles that is another 120,000 lbs = 240,000 240,000 lbs. divide by 10 = 24,000 lbs. per axle. That is the most you can get in any state. 40,000 lbs The bridge law is 80,000 lbs. in 65’ = 1,230 lbs. + per foot 1,230 lbs. x well Spacing 30’ = 36,000 lbs per 2 axles 36,000 x 3 = 108,000 lbs. max bridge weight
