A new article for UN Today. This time, Marc Workman, CEO of the World Blind Union. January 4 was World Braille Day. What is this celebration really about? The ideas and technology are fully available to those who can develop solutions to improve the condition of people who cannot see (totally or partially), however not all countries and non-profit organizations have access to the funds to acquire them. What are the priorities of the organization that carries the banner of global needs?
