1997 Chevy Suburban – Pat W.

My 27 year old girlfriend and I have been going steady since we met in 1997. Family truck that hauls eight people to the beach, all their gear, and a 130 pound lab. Original owner and restored to original beauty. Of the 151K miles, 125K are highway. Just a big baby, mileage wise.

1965 GMC Suburban – Richard S.

I found this well-loved 1965 Suburban in Connecticut and had it shipped down to Naples, FL. It had spent 35 years as a yard truck/plow truck in a New England marina. I loved the patina, but it had a significant amount of rust. Also, I realized that I couldn't do much over 45 mph with current brake and drivetrain setup. After a few years, she sports a 502 RamJet with an automatic and everything below the body is new. I put on 4 wheel discs and A/C, so it's now my perfect Home Depot runner. The best part is ... read more >>

1968 Chevy Suburban – Brian M.

My “Don’t Give Up on Me” Suburban Story 1981, fresh out of school with a Master’s degree, we moved from Upstate NY to Phoenix AZ. Our daily drivers were a base model Chevy Chevette and a Kawasaki motorcycle. These seemed ok given our modest lifestyle…until daughter #1 showed up! We kept the Chevette but traded my motorcycle for something bigger….a 1968 Chevy Suburban. It was in pretty good shape but burned oil like a fiend. We took to always having a case of recycled oil in the “way back” and putting a quart in the stock SBC307 every 100 ... read more >>

1991 GMC Suburban – Dennis T.

The first square body I ever drove was my friend’s yellow 1973 GMC Suburban in 1973. Ever since then, I always knew I would own one! Many years later, I had my chance to buy a 1991 GMC Suburban exactly the way I wanted it; barn doors, RWD, roll up windows bench seat, and last but not least, no draft windows. The wagon had 54,000 original miles when I bought it in 2014! No rust, totally stock with the 350 and four speed auto. Perfect for my work, I drove it to Buffalo and Rochester from NJ for many ... read more >>

1995 Chevy Suburban – Brytany C.

My wife really wanted this Suburban because it was very special to her. It had been sitting for several years and needed a lot of maintenance. My daughter and I drove several hours and brought it home as a surprise. Once we brought it home, it went under a major transformation were it received a DJM lowering kit with tubular control arms, new wheels and tires, roof rack delete, all new OEM lights, and paint correction to protect the factory paint. To get it running correctly and to be reliable, it received a tune up and new fuel pump ... read more >>

1997 Chevy Suburban – Brad B.

I bought this Smokey Caramel K2500 from its original owners with all service records. It was meant to be my winter beater, but I realized more and more how clean it was and the color grew on me. She has 308k miles and all original drivetrain; 350 Vortec married to a 4L80 transmission. I baby the truck and service everything regularly. I lifted the truck 8 inches with some 35s and enjoy taking her out on trails and she has not let me down yet. It's still chugging along strong with no issues and I am itching to see ... read more >>

1995 Chevy Suburban – Zach

This was my wife’s late grandfather's Suburban, it sat for several years and needed some work. We were finally able to get the Suburban from a family member and the transformation began. The wife had a long list of things she wanted done to it. Once getting the engine back up running, using all ACDelco parts and rebuilding the transmission, I then lowered it on a set of new wheels and tires. The interior is 100% factory perfect, so I only had to get professional detail to bring it back to show room fresh. ... read more >>

1990 Chevy Suburban – Jerrod P.

An old coworker of mine randomly messaged me in the winter of 2022 asking if I would like to take his '90 Suburban off his hands, since he had just purchased a new Jeep Gladiator. His wife told him that if another car showed up, an existing one must go. This particular Suburban has been a property ornament for the last 8 years up here in the Pacific Northwest. My buddy told me that we might just get lucky enough to toss a battery in it, and fire it up. I couldn't have been more excited! He told me ... read more >>

1991 Chevy Suburban – Mario M.

It all started way back in 1992 when I walked in our local Chevrolet dealership here in Hollywood, Florida. There she was in all her glory, a 1991 Chevrolet Suburban in Bohemian blue and Quicksilver metallic. Mind you, I was only 17 and completely fell in love with this truck and said I want it. My whole family said the obvious question: what are you going to do with a Suburban and you're just one person? I didn't care, I just had to have it. I went back a few days later and it was gone, just sold earlier ... read more >>

1961 Chevy Suburban – Brandon F.

My grandfather friend had this '61 Chevy Suburban factory 4x4 in his field for 20 years. I had to buy it, I got it home, brought a few parts from LMC, and got it running and moving on its own. It would be an honor to have this rare Chevy pig nose Suburban on the Catalog. Thank you guys at LMC for giving this truck a second life.

1997 Chevy Suburban – Hanz F.

This is my 1997 Chevy Suburban LS that was in the family since new. It was originally my grandmother's that she bought brand new. When she passed away, my dad inherited it. I eventually bought it from my dad and have been working on it and turning it into my dream truck. Some recent modifications have been a 6 in rough country lift, 35 in km3 tires, badlands 12,000 lbs winch, that yes, I have used. Roof Rack, running boards, dual exhuast with magnaflow magna packs, etc. I plan on keeping this truck forever. I hope you enjoy the ... read more >>

1956 Chevy Suburban – Keith B.

A Young Man's Forever Vehicle So, this story begins in 1973 in Western Maryland when I was a senior in High School. I purchased this 1956 Chevy Panel truck from a retire B&O Rail-Road worker. It had its original green paint, 235CI, 6-cylinder motor with a granny transmission. It wasn’t much of a highway cruiser, but it got a young man around during high school, and then college. I was able to paint the truck brown when I was in college, I still do not remember where I got that money, and slap on some white rally wheels for ... read more >>
