1969 Chevy C10 – Jim C.

In the spring of 1973, my Uncle Jack bought a 1969 Chevy C10 in Massachusetts. The original owner drove it across the country from CA. Inspired to look for a pickup by my father's 1972 K10 when Jack found the '69 it was love at first sight. For 47 years and 267,000 miles, the truck was a member of the family. Jack and my Aunt Martha took my cousins Kathy and Pam all over New England in that truck. It hauled everything from firewood to the girls' college moving boxes. In 1975, my parents drove their '72 across the ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – John D.

I used to drive past this truck each morning on my way to work, she was tank green and L60's all around and I loved it. Finally one day, I pulled into his yard and asked if he wanted to sell it. "I know your brother and he said you might want to sell it." He said, "I don't know where he got that idea and I don't want to sell." I gave him my card saying "if you ever want to sell please call me". Well, a year later he called and asked if I still wanted the ... read more >>

This truck had been sitting in a field for many years until the time finally came to bring it back to life. Simple 350 engine and automatic transmission. This was a father-son project and we utilized LMC for the majority of the parts used during the restoration. I would like to say thank you for the fast shipping and quality parts. Keep em’ on the road!🇺🇸

1969 Ford F100 – Jake M.

The last 5 years have been really hard for me, to say the least. I just can’t catch a break. Every time I start to get ahead, something out of nowhere happens. Long story short, I had to find a daily driver that was good enough to get down the road, but something I could pay cash for. I saved some cash from my previous paycheck, and what was left of my savings while looking on line for what was available. I found a couple old prospects, most of which were rust buckets and didn’t look reliable enough to ... read more >>

1969 GMC 1500 – Michael H.

I found my truck in New Hampshire in 2009. I was looking for something to have a project or driver. I looked at different cars for 2 years. I found my truck and went and looked at it. When I came home, I was telling my (now wife) about the truck. As we talked, she told me I said something different from all the other times, she told me "you said you really wanted that truck, so why don't you go buy it?", so I did. I drove it for a couple of years then commissioned a body shop ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – Gerard G.

Growing up in Arizona with a Greatest Generation, blue collar issue dad to whom brand loyalty toward trucks was in the DNA- You were either Ford or Chevy guy. Occasionally, you’d run into a Dodge type, but the old man was sure they were all "communists or something". He was all Chevy, unless you had money- then it was GMC. I grew up with a steady stream “FORD-means Figure on Repairs Daily.” Or "Ford, well at least they circled the problem". And all the rest. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized there were people going around ... read more >>

1969 Chevy C10 – Kari S.

My husband and I restored this truck for the past two years. I lost my dad when he wrecked his '72 just before my 15th birthday and got killed. He was a painter and body man so I learned how to paint and I painted my truck myself in honor of him. My husband and I took it to Rod Run Fall 2022 with no intention of placing, but we ended up in top 25! It’s been a dream come true!

1969 Chevy C10 – Steven W.

I bought this C10 in 2009 here in the Netherlands, Europe for €1500. It had been imported from California in 1991. Most of the cab was literally rotten away because of the rain and salt in the Dutch climate; cab corners, Rocker panels, floor, A-pillars, and even the roof above the window. So, that cab was unsalvageable. Luckily, I have a childhood buddy who lives in Riverside, CA who was kind enough to send me a cab with doors, which was absolutely rust-free. Then, the rebuild began, which took us about 4 years, and to see it out of ... read more >>

1969 Ford F250 – Alan A.

My truck is a '69 F250 which came from AZ 29 years ago, now living in NY. In AZ, she worked on a ranch. My dad traded an '83 New Yorker and 300 dollars. Then, I claimed it when I was 14. I'm 43 now. Well, in '08 I had to park her in my garage because brakes and lights went out, I couldn't even afford to survive, let alone fix it. In 2020, I got her running, moved out of its grave spot. Needless to say, this truck cruises a lot and many car shows. Next spring, it's ... read more >>

My late husband died before he could finish his favorite truck. Someone made it a flatbed and I would really like to keep the bed, but it's falling apart and the motor is tired. Gary wanted to take it to car shows. It might be a while until that's done as I don't know a whole lot. First pic is from 2017, next 2022 where I live now. It had surface rust.

1969 Chevy 2500 – Ben A.

Ole Blue has been in our family for over 30 years. My dad bought the truck in the 90’s and decided to use it as a pulling truck. After a few years of pulling, he blew up the 454 and there it sat in the shed for many years. One day, I started bugging him to start working on it. Next thing you know, we were 3 years into a finished product, and we’ve been enjoying it ever since. We put another 454 in it and kept the original 4 speed. I get a wave every time I take ... read more >>

It was passed through the family and I wanted to bring it back to life. It took two complete years to get it road-ready and the memories it brings back with the entire family... The truck is two months older than I am and it will be passed on as well. Thank you LMC, you had everything to bring it back to life.

1969 Ford F100 – Mike K.

After owning the truck for 20 years, I decided it was time to rebuild it - 5 years 4 months and 8 days, I completed a total restoration using LMC parts - my F100 runs a 351 Cleveland 4 speed Toploader and 9 in rear end. Lowered 6 inches all around and painted in Graphite Grey and Flame Red. I have kept everything as original as I could. Thanks to LMC Truck parts, my build has turned out just fantastic.
