The truck belonged to my uncle. I learned to drive in it when I was 13 or 14 years old riding around in the hay fields. My Uncle had the truck restored in 2000. My Aunt sold me the truck after my uncle passed away.

I bought my truck brand new as a 23 year old kid on Sept. 30th 2004 from Dean Stallings Ford in Oak Ridge TN. I chose the 2004 over the 2005’s that were available because I really wanted a stepside bed. 2004 was the last year for a stepside bed in a Ford Ranger. I obtained this 1984 GMC from the individual that bought in new. I was going to use it as a hunting truck but after checking it over, finding no previous body work, and it was completely rust free, I decided it was too nice for that. I had originally bought my ‘60 as a parts truck for $200 in 1988 for my ‘59. I eventually got rid of the ‘59 since it actually was a Frankenstein truck on a Jeep Cherokee frame. The ‘60 was all complete just needed an engine rebuild. Eventually it became my daily driver. As I joined the US Navy, I drove the truck from Albuquerque to Mare Island Naval Shipyard. I fell in love at first sight with this Craigslist treasure. I can't take credit for the incredible customizing, but I ride in it proudly. Got my truck as a high school graduation gift from my grandma. My dad and I worked on it for a few years. I drive it every day to school and work. I had a wreck and rebuilt it to what it is now, but sadly we didn’t finish the work before my grandmother passed away. I take it to local cars and coffees and small shows in the area. My truck means a lot to me because my dad and I built it together.

After 2 years off looking for K10 stepside in my country, I found this 76 K10. It's got new paint, new tires, Blazer K5 seat and console, new 75-76 Chevy NOS grille, and some parts from LMC Truck. It looks good now and I love it like a son. My next project will be 6.0L. 4X4 5.7L Manual transmission AC Cruise control

My First Truck My dad purchased this truck February 5, 1964. It was his first new vehicle. As a sixteen year old I was excited to get to drive it off the dealer ship lot in Baxley, GA. I inherited this truck in the earlier 90’s from my wife’s uncle that no longer wanted to use the truck on his McDade, TX ranch.
