1972 GMC K2500 – Russell S.

Hi I'm Russell! I am a heavy machine operator for Local 137 IUOE. It's always been my dream to restore a classic truck and thanks to LMC Truck for all their quality parts and help. I was able to revive this 1972 GMC K2500 pickup. When I bought it, it was a rust bucket, original color (blue). It took me over 3 yrs to complete it. I enjoy driving it on nice sunny days.  I am going to be working on another 1987 Chevy pickup truck soon and I'm so glad I have LMC Truck parts! ... read more >>

1987 Ford F-150 – Denis D.

I have never owned or worked on a truck in my life. but I have always wanted to learn how to restore and maintain an old truck. So I found this old '87- got it on the cheap since it was rusted up pretty bad. Spent my winter nights (and many days) working in my shop up north in Canada. I learned to weld and do bodywork. Patched both fenders, both sides of the floorpans, the firewall, both cab corners and even the roof. I replaced all rusted parts and gave it a needed tune-up. I stripped the entire ... read more >>

1965 Chevy C10 – Dan M.

After racing small block modifieds in NJ for 20 years, I thought it was time to slow the pace down. Along with my wife, Cathy, and her two sons, Don and Gordon, we found a 1965 Chevy C10 fleetside pickup that looked to be a good project truck. We soon found what a bucket of rust we bought. While doing a complete cab-off project, Don, 12 years old at the time, and I bonded over this truck like I never imagined. We installed power disc brakes and steering and changed it over to 5 lug wheels. We lowered the ... read more >>

1971 GMC K1500 – Tim M.

In 2014 I was looking for a 4WD fleetside short bed GMC or Chevy truck. That combination is pretty rare, but I found one on eBay. I took a chance and won the auction for a truck that I had never seen in person. The truck was out in Idaho and I live in Indiana. I had the truck shipped to Indiana and began the process of restoring the GMC. My plan was to do everything myself except for body/paint and the engine rebuild. Fortunately the GMC had spent most of its life in the dry state of Nevada, ... read more >>

1986 Dodge W150 – Gene G.

The orange truck is a 1986 W150. I found it on a Facebook Dodge truck trader page. It was being sold as a nearly perfectly restored truck, with a small ignition problem needing to be addressed. Let’s just say that was as far from the truth as possible. The truck was a complete mess, with so many mechanical problems it wasn’t even funny. Sadly, it was an internet sale that was paid in full. Live and learn. After getting it home from Lansing, KS, I was able to get the correct wheels and tires back on it. That’s when ... read more >>

1984 Chevy C10 – Daniel G.

My 17 year old stepson Marcus saved his money working and still in High school and bought himself a classic fixer upper...I'm Daniel, the stepdad who is helping him out with this, What Marcus and I call a "Father/son project, since Marcus real father is mostly absent from his life though I'm sure he does love him. 1949 Chevy 3100 – Tim Thelen

When I retired I searched for months to find a pre-1955 Chevrolet pickup that I could hot rod out in my garage. The requirements I had was there were to be good bones and no or little sheet metal work to be accomplished. I would put the new paint, new motor, interior, wheels and tires on it. After three months of searching I finally found one on-line that fit the requirements. It took my navigation system two days to get me to this upper Michigan town. When I arrived I was amazed at the detail Ed had put into ... read more >>

1973 Ford Bronco – Douglas Robertson

I have had the early Bronco bug for nearly a quarter century. When I realized modern auto tech and gadgets were not for me, my Bronco bug resurfaced. After searching for several months, I saw my future 1973 Ford Bronco on eBay; not quite my color choice, but it synced well with my other criteria. Following several phone calls and the auction, a friend and I flew out to drive my new Bronco home – 1300 miles! Over the last two years, I have gone through the Bronco, touching nearly everything in my rolling refresh. Because I have no ... read more >>

1982 Chevy K5 Blazer – John R.

When my grandfather passed away over a dozen years ago I purchased this truck. I considered selling it a couple times and even had a buyer on the way at one point, but couldn't bring myself to selling. I now have a 8-year-old son who believes it's his. We have started a tradition with this truck.

1972 Chevy C10 – Kevin D.

I've always been into many types of automobiles, but nothing got me more excited than this 1972 C10. My grandfather purchased this beauty in 2004. He purchased it as you see it in the pictures however, it came with a small block 350, crappy Suspension, and stock brake system. He lives in Iowa and I live in Florida, but every time I came to visit I would get my chance to drive it and also help him work on it. Over the years he has done odds and ends to bring it back to a healthy life. Now a 454, ... read more >>

1970 Chevy CST10 – Kevin K.

I took this 1970 CST/10 from the family barn in 2010 where it had set with a broken starter, numerous broken interior parts, and mice nesting in the heater core for years. To get it running good enough to go home I installed a fuel pump and ran a fuel line into a barrel since the gas in the tank had crystallized into an alien creature. Once home I used a porta-power to push out the major dents, installed a new gas tank, brakes, cleaned up the interior with some seat covers and carpet, chased the mice out of the ... read more >>
