Available for the first time in over a decade is this period-correct 1965 Catalina. Arguably one of the best big Pontiacs of the decade, this 1965 Pontiac Catalina Convertible with the factory '2+2' option is an exciting and rare offering!
Prior to the owners buying it in mid-2013, this Catalina was repainted from its original Capri Gold to the red offered in 1965; Montero Red. Also prior to 2013 the 4-barrel carbs and stock manifolds for the 338 hp 421 engine were replaced with the highly desirable Tri-Power Triple Carbs complete with correct lengthened exhaust manifolds. Around that time Vintage Air was added as well as the black top was replaced with a new black vinyl top.
Offered from the factory with the following options: Automatic transmission, Power steering and brakes, 8-lug wheels, Bucket seats with Black interior, Wood grain steering wheel, Pushbutton radio, Dual exhaust, Heavy duty suspension, Remote outside mirror, Trunk light, Power antenna, Convertible top boot, Original Protect-O-Plate and booklet
Now showing just over 113,000 miles, this Catalina 2+2 starts right up and runs out well, with proper idle and shifting.
