Except that school buses aren't yellow. Modern school buses are yellow-orange. The term is a throwback to the thirties when they were first introduced....and actually were yellow. But whatever we want to call it, it's a beautiful color!

Someday I'll see this color on a Maverick myself. I still have not seen one. It's a unicorn for sure. I do know what the color looks like because I've seen it on the Bronco, Bronco Sport, Ranger, and a Mustang Mach-E GT. I'm sure it looks great. But this quite literally paints the picture of how similar it is to School Bus Yellow.

This may shock you, but despite the color name, school buses aren't really yellow either. They are a shade of yellow-orange. So yes, the Maverick is nearly the same shade of color as school bus yellow, and can still be orange. Cyber Orange is very much between yellow and orange, but when I've seen Cyber Orange in person, it reads more orange to me. Honestly if I looked at FS Color 13432 (this is the Federal Standard color for National School Bus Glossy Yellow) outside the context of a school bus, I'd also call it orange

i GOT A 2022 XLT HYBRID THIS COLOR ITS GROWING ON ME..i still have my 2023 order intact but who knows when i will get it
