Very good condition featuring double cutaway contoured alder body with Olympic White finish, three single coil pickups with white plastic pickup covers, one volume control and two tone controls with white plastic skirted knobs, five way pickup selector switch with white plastic tip, oval pointed output jack plate mounted to the top treble side of the body, multi-ply white, black and tortoiseshell grain beveled edge pickguard, tremolo bridge unit with six individual adjustable steel saddles, bolt on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays starting at the 3rd fret, bone nut, small Stratocaster shaped peghead with black block Fender logo, Stratocaster logo, serial number and Squier Series printed on the peghead face, single butterfly string tree, six in a line tuning machines with smooth oval metal buttons, four bolt neck fastening plate, two metal strap buttons and black padded Fender gig bag. This guitar weighs 7lb 4oz.
This 1994 Fender Stratocaster is in very good cosmetic condition. It is overall pretty clean except for a few very small dings and scratches that are photographed. The pickguard is a later tortoiseshell grain replacement and the plastic knobs are replacements as well. The tremolo cavity cover plate is missing and the trem has been “blocked” by the previous owner with a piece of maple (this could easily be removed if desired). The neck profile is that of a modern “C” shape with a 1 11/16” nut width and is a medium chunky carve that feels very nice and comfortable in the hand. The frets are in fantastic condition showing almost no signs of wear and have a lifetime of use left in them. This Stratocaster plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The original single coil pickups sound very good and are very well balanced together. This pickups have a very articulate bell like quality and aren’t overly bright like some of these can be. The electronics work smoothly and do not have any extra noise (crackles). These Mexico built Squier Series Stratocasters are pretty cool and you don’t see them every day. This one is a killer player and definitely will not disappoint its new owner.
