Who is Cady Lalanne, Warriors' return from Chriss trade?

The Warriors didn't make any major moves on NBA trade deadline day, but the team did ship out a pair of reserves to clear a few roster spots for potential players coming available on the buyout market.

Brad Wanamaker reportedly is going to the Charlotte Hornets, and Marquese Chriss, who hasn't played this season and remains out with a fractured leg, reportedly was dealt to the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors didn't receive any current NBA players in the deal, but received the draft rights to Cady Lalanne in the trade for Chriss, The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported Thursday.

Lalanne, drafted 55th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Spurs, played one season with the G League's Austin Spurs before a run of stints playing in various nations around the world. Lalanne was an injury replacement in the 2016 G League All-Star Game, averaging 12.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks over 26.3 minutes per game over the first half.

He currently is competing with Changwon LG Sakers in the Korean League, earning All-Star honors this season.

A four-year player at the University of Massachusetts, Lalanne now is 28 years old and isn't likely to be cracking an NBA rotation anytime soon.

A sure throw-in to complete the trade, Lalanne's draft rights reportedly don't have any impact on the Warriors' current or future roster plans.
