Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The people were caught by clouds of volcanic ash and lava as they were fleeing. Archeologists inject plaster into spaces left by decomposed bodies thereby reproducing the attitudes of those who met their death.

Recently, an addition to the Hedding Methodist Church where Mr.

Fennimore was treasurer for 50 years, was named in his honor. Burial will be in church yard. In lieu of any other expressions of sympathy, family requests memorial contributions be made to Hedding Methodist Church. Phila. man killed in head-on crash on Route 206 SHAMONG A Pennsylvania man was killed in an automobile accident Sunday morning on U. S.

Route 206, state police said. Angelo F. Zilly of 4653 Hazel Trevose, was dead on arrival at Burlington County Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, of multiple injuries after the 9:28 a.m. accident. State police at Red Lion said Zilly was driving a van southbound on Route 206 when his left front tire blew out and caused the van to cross over the highway into the northbound lane.

Hie van swideswiped a truck and turned over on its side. Zilly, police said, was thrown from the vehicle, which then rolled over the victim. A passenger in the van, Anthony Sanna, 67, of 113 Bayard Trenton, was listed in serious condition in the hospital with multiple injuries. Two other passengers were treated and released with minor injuries. The truck driver, William J.

He was an instructor at RCA Institute of New York and became director in charge. In 1921 he built a new transmitter which enabled the famous Dempsey-Carpenter fight to be nationally broadcast, the first for such a fight. Mr. Bergin received a testimonial from President Roosevelt and the Secretary of the Navy. During World War II, he was commanding officer for the Burlington County and Moorestown Civil Defense.

Surviving are a son, John W. Bergin of Bedford, and a daughter, Margaret A. Bergin, of Chesterfield, N.J. Memorial donations may be made to the Burlington County Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, or to the Burlington County Heart Association. He joined the Department Of Defense in 1934 and was activated to federal service in 1940, serving in the European and Pacific theaters of war.

He stayed in the Army until 1948 and then returned to the Department Of Defense. He helped organize the 44thDivision of the Army into the 50th Armored Division after the war. He is survived by his wife, Jane Blackwell Ahrens; a son, John Edward Ahrens of Durham, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Alexander Price of Cherry Hill; and sisters Mrs. Michael Walsh of Wilmington, and Mrs.

William J. McGrory of New Castle, contributions may be made to the Princeton Medical Center or the Camden County Heart Association. Planning Board from 1962 through 1974. Henkywasbom inBrooklyn.N.Y., the son of George R. and Jennie E.

Henky. He graduated from Lehigh University in 1939 and began vhis, newspaper career as a public relations assistant for the British government. Later, he ran a group of weekly newspapers in Somerset County, New Jersey. Henky is survived by his widow, Anne; a daughter, Patience Ann, a senior at Salem High School and sons Bruce L. and Nicholas both of Elmer.

He resided with his wife and daughter in Mannington Township. Services are private. A memorial service will be held at the family residence with burial at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstown. Full military honors for Col.

John H. Ahrens, 89, of 279 Elm Princeton, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Col. Ahrens, formerly of Camden, died Saturday at Princeton Medical Center.

Born in Wilmington, Del he lived in Camden for a number of years before moving to Princeton in 1947. He joined the Army in 1904 as an enlisted man and became an officer in 1920. Col. Ahrens was a graduate of the Command and General Staff Schools in Washington, D.C. He served in the Mexican Border War with the 157th Field Artillery, a Camden unit.

He retired in 1953 after 39 years of service from the New Jersey Department Of Defense as Adjutant General in the rank of full colonel. HAHN Edward O. Of 553 E. Holly Pitman, N.J. On Sept.

Today's Sunbeam, and vice president of the Sunbeam Publishing Co. died Sunday at Graduate Hospital here where he underwent heart surgery Sept. 1. Henky had been connected with Sunbeam Publishing Co. newspapers since 1951.

He particiated in organizing two new weeklies, the Pennsville Progress in 1959 and the Pennsgrove Sun in 1965. They were merged in September 1972 with the Salem Sunbeam, Salem Standard and Jer-seyman and the Woodstown Monitor-Register to form the new daily, Today's Sunbeam. In 1974, he was elected president of CamGlo Newspapers Tumers-ville. Henky served as a member and secretary of the Salem County.
