The noted screen, television and fiction writer also wrote for The Four Star Playhouse" and The SchliU Playhouse" on television, and in the 1940s created the screenplays for six Henry Aldrkh movies, the series of films starring Jimmy Lydon based on the popular radio program about an accident-prone teen-ager. But it was her work as head writer and story consultant for "The Millionaire" that received the greatest public exposure.

The show each week portrayed the story of someone who received $1 million tax free from an eccentric billionaire, John Beresford Tipton. Marvin Miller, as Tipton's secretary and presenter of the gifts, was the series' onlv continuing character.
