Pulsar EXA rolled out in 1982 is a coupe model of Pulsar. The daring form with slanting retractable headlights was designed to pursue an image totally different from that of Pulsar sedan or hatchback. One-make race was held for EXA, a compact sporty model.
This "Convertible" was rolled out in 1985 as a commemorative car of 15th anniversary of dealers of NISSAN Cherry. The number of production was only 100. This car is manufactured based on EXA 5-speed MT. The soft-top is made of specially woven cloth with high weatherproof and waterproof performance and organic glass of polycarbonate series is adopted for better rearward visibility.
