It produces 175 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 203 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 rpm. This engine replaces the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LYX found in 2022 Terrain models, which was rated at 170 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 203 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 rpm. The 2023 model year also comes with 2 new exterior paint colors: Deep Bronze Metallic and Volcanic Red Tintcoat. A new electro-hydraulic braking system was also added to replace the traditional vacuum-assisted braking system. New for this model's year includes Eboost electronic power brake assist, which lets you toggle between FWD, AWD, and off-road modes when equipped with AWD.
