Green JM
I'm considering some options for upcoming projects and I have the image of a dark (possibly forest green?) JM from here that's got a black pickguard and a amber switch tip.
I usually always save pictures, but my laptop just died the other day and I lost all my project idea pictures. Can anyone point me in the direction of that picture please?
If it wasn't bought in that color, does anyone know what color it might be? I've been looking into dark greens in duplicolor...

Re: Green JM
Plenty beautiful dark green variations come in Duplicolor cans.
Deep Jewel Green (a Ford color):
Clover Green Pearl (Honda):
Classic Green Pearl (Toyota):
Dark Green Mica (Toyota):
Spruce Green Mica (Toyota):
Don't know if available as a Duplicolor can, but probably my favorite green, though not quite "forest" enough. It has a beautiful warmth that would make it work great with torts or gold guard and cream plastics.

Re: Green JM
Spruce green there is my favorite too! For this project idea I have, I want more of a green green, with less blue hues. Most of those are a bit of a blue green, though they do look good.
I do want to find that picture of that JM too though! After a half hour search last night, I couldn't find it...

Can you describe it a bit better? I might have it. (I have a folder of green offsets somewhere).Shadoweclipse13 wrote:Spruce green there is my favorite too! Re: Green JM
Thanks for the links guys! I think it's the REALLY dark green one that Ben/Workoffire made on page 5 of Pixmix's link!

Here's the link of what I had in my head, but apparently it's actually charcoal frost... haha:

I am still inspired to find a ridiculously dark green for this project idea and this is the picture that does it:

Re: Green JM
Check out Spanish Moss Metallic from the same years that Lincoln was doing CFM. It's pretty close to the color that CFM becomes with aging.

Re: Green JM
A dark gray metallic with a tinted (yellowed) clear coat will get you there. Btw, that's a super sexy guitar!
