This F40 is presented in stealth Grigio Nardo, because the Ferrari's current owner wanted his F40 to recall Scuderia Ferrari sports racers of the 1960s. It would have left the factory, as the other 1,314 F40s did, sporting a smart coat of Rosso Corsa, Italy's racing colour. As part of a complete overhaul Zanasi Group of Maranello also installed electric blue fabric racing seats and applied the correct Ferrari shields to each front wing.
With design by Pininfarina, the F40 was the last model that Enzo Ferrari personally signed off. A standard F40 can reach 200 mph. Competition modifications by race specialists Michelotto allow this example to produce up to 1,000 bhp, the power of a Bugatti Veyron in a lighter car.
