savanna, sand, cocoa & cognac. is there any love for them?!
Discussion
I have a theory that the browns in the 996 range were poor. Savanna is just a bit yellow maybe, cinnamon/tan is a bit brown and terracotta is waaay too much. Shame they didn't do linen.
Sand looks better in pictures but I haven't seen one.
What's the story on special orders? There's a car for sale now that looks for all the world like linen but maybe its been retrimmed?

I have sand beige in my 997 - I was relucnant at first, and had looked at loads of 997's with black interiors, but just didnt feel they looked 'special' enough.
As my car isnt a daily driver I can afford to keep the interior clean and to date I'm definitely glad I got the sand beige.
Some nice examples of sand beige interiors below.

I'm loving the cocoa interior in my 997. It contrasts well with the slate grey.
Some shots from the dealer website. The interior comes up much lighter in the photos. When looking into the car from outside you'd be hard pushed to notice it wasn't black.
