Anyone have a California Sage Aston Worcester-ish area ?
Discussion
Anyone have a California Sage Green Aston ideally somewhere between Bristol and Birmingham that I can have a quick look at in daylight ?
I've planning on using the colour for something I'm building.
I've seen samples but not a whole car "in the flesh" - and it would be good to do that before ordering a few hundred pounds worth of paint !
I did search through Astons for sale but the closest I can find is at the pointy end of Cornwall !
Thanks
EDIT TO ADD: I've found one locally that I've been able to look at today in different light and angles. Thanks for the info and photos.

Thanks Alan.
Even though I'm west of the M5, Kent is actually nearer to me than Falmouth where there is one for sale that I could look at. You are still 200 miles though so hopefully one will pop up nearer !
I do love the colour, I've sprayed a small test panel with rattle cans and I get the feeling it's may be very slightly darker in real life than photos but like all metallics it does change based on ambient light.
It certainly looks fabulous on cars with gentle curves like your Aston.
Do you (or anyone else) know if the colour changed over the years ?
I know it was used on DB5 and DB6 in the 1960s then again from about 2000.
The paint I'm using is Aston code 1338 and is listed as 2003 on but - from photos- I don't think the shade is different to that used on earlier cars.

I think it’s changed shade a bit from the DB5 era to the modern California Sage

Thanks, that is a very useful resource and does imply the later version is much lighter, although I don't really see that from photos of the cars. I think it’s changed shade a bit from the DB5 era to the modern California Sage
A bit annoying Aston Martin used the same name but at least the number changed ! (From 2629 to 1338)
Of course the original paint would be solvent based and the 2003 version water based so maybe that's part of it.
