Truck hits school bus on U.S. 98 West
There were no reported injuries among students when a Pensacola Christian Academy school bus was rear-ended Wednesday morning, according to school officials.
The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. near the Navy Hospital on U.S. 98. According to academy officials, the Ford pickup behind the bus was rear-ended by a third motorist, forcing it into the back of the school bus.

The children on the bus were screened on site by medical personnel, but none required hospital treatment. Parents were notified of the crash and given the option to pick up their children or have them placed on another bus to continue to school.
Christian Academy officials said the emergency door of the bus was damaged during the crash, so the vehicle will be taken out of service until it is repaired.
The conditions of the other motorists involved in the crash are unavailable. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
