Vehicle Description

1956 Cadillac El Dorado Seville Coupe

Joining our consignment fleet is this stunning example of one of the most iconic USA-built automobiles of the century, the 1956 Cadillac El Dorado Seville Coupe finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over the ultra-rare, Bahama Blue 95 fabric/brochad interior. Just one of approximately 3,900 Seville’s built, this El Dorado underwent a full, and well-documented restoration showing VIN # 5662102806. Powered by a V-8 365 CI Powered w/Dual 4 Bbls with Batwing Air Cleaner and an automatic transmission showing a little over 1,500 miles, this vehicle was spec’d with all of the options for the time period, Z Eye Safety Glass, pristine new/pristine old stock spotlights (correct GM for '56 only - long shaft), new and recently installed period-correct wide white wall tires bias-ply look radials ($1,200), as well as factory-equipped power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, power 6-way seats (needing one part to work properly), auto dimming headlights, Wonder Bar Radio (needing another part to work) with floor control and OEM Autronic Eye Sabre Wheels.

Originally finished in Bahama Blue Metallic, which still resides on the car under the completely Vinyl Wrapped 3M Midnight Metallic Blue (body only, no door jams) by one of the most reputable customization shops in Los Angeles, West Coast Customs, a $5,500 job which looks gorgeous alongside the painted silver roof ($1,500). This vinyl wrap is easily removable. The Vinyl wrap does not include door jams and is showing immaculate condition. While the new vinyl wrap protects the original paint color, if the Buyer wanted to restore the car to it’s original color, it would be very easy and inexpensive / can be done at home (although unadvisable). The flawless vinyl wrap looks amazing paired the stunning silver roof over the ultra rare light bue fabric brochad interiorThe car recently had its master cylinder replaced, and all brake / fluid lines checked for optimal driving conditions. All receipts for the $23,000 restoration photos are saved to a CD.

This truly stunning motorcar has been wonderfully restored and is now ready to be shown or driven! We are proud to offer this limited production Cadillac Seville to the sophisticated collector, investor or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the rarity and investment potential of this great American classic.
