New 2014 RAM Express Black Edition

I traded in a old rusty 2002 Avalanche with 170k miles for a brand new 2014 RAM Express. I got the 5.7 hemi , 8 speed, tonneau, spray in bed liner, backup cam, cd player, antispin differential, hitch and trailer brake control. I chose to lease becuase the payment was so low.... $199 a month for 36 months and 10k miles per year. After trade in I just had to pay 512 including first month payment. was this a good deal?

I'm not a lease guy, but it sounds cheap. As long as you drive under 10K miles/year and didn't want to keep this truck as long as you did the chevy.

Man I LOVE the Black Express packages, I just cant get myself to do black...but clean they look so great.

I say if your like me, drive not many miles and like a new truck, sure, lease it is. My payment is $350 a month and I have put 16,500 miles on it in 29 months....so maybe I should have leased.

Whats your residual value on the truck? (what you can purchase it for after the lease is completed)

Congratulations on your new Express!! As you can see from my signature I agree you made an wonderful choice. I'm not a lease type of guy due to putting too many miles a year on my vehicles and that I like ownership of the vehicle without worry of running into any hassles when turning in a leased vehicle.

With that said though, based on the miles per year you drive leasing sounds good for you and that payment is fantastic. My payment is under $400 a month, but that is because I got what i wanted for my trade and feel i got a good deal on the truck.

I never came across any express trucks with an 8 speed down here! Love the black express! I was dead set on buying one but they made me a better deal on my white truck so I built a stormtrooper.

I came from a 2013 Black Diamond Avalanche! The rides just as good in the ram. Just miss my midgate!
