 Performance

One of two engine choices can power your drive. The 2.0-liter Dual Overhead Cam four-cylinder produces 158 horsepower and 141 lb.-ft. of torque while getting up to 30 MPG on the highway. The available 2.4-liter World Engine delivers 172 horsepower and 165 lb.-ft. of torque while getting up to 28 highway MPG and towing of the 2,000 pounds. To optimize off-road capability, this SUV can include one of two or 4x4 systems. Freedom Drive I™ gives you full-time four-wheel drive that includes Break Traction Control and a selectable LOCK mode. It monitors wheel slippage and distributes torque to the axle that needs it most through Electronically Controlled Coupling. Freedom Drive II® lets you select a locking Off-Road mode that features Hill Descent Control and grade-sensing abilities. The system is especially made for challenging road conditions, such as deep snow and water up to 19 inches deep.

The spacious interior surrounds up to five passengers with chrome accents, soft touch points and upholstery ranging from premium cloth sport mesh to leather trim.
