side vents -- painting to match body color

Recommended Posts

I just replaced my 2000 base w/ a 2007 S. Loved the 2000, but wow!

The '07 is Carmen Red. I plan to paint the roll bar to match (HBL Porsche estimate is $800), maybe add matching console from BumperPlugs, and paint the side vents. Any of you have photos you can post of a car (other than silver) w/ painted vents?

Thanks

Jef

I changed my 05 987 to the Cayman side vents and had them painted to match. I was debating black v Guards Red, but I think this works... Let me know if you need more pix/different angle. Had the vents sent from Sunset Porsche. They are shipped in primer grey and all ready for a spray at your fave spray shop.

I had the side vents and front vents painted shortly after purchasing the 07 S. The side vents can also be purchased from bumperplugs. The front vents require the bumper to be removed which adds to the cost a bit. I would really like to add the matching center console but concerned about the heat build up on black.
