The 2022 Dodge Challenger is a two-door coupe capable of seating up to five people. The 2022 Challenger is available in 12 different trims to choose from while the Dodge Charger only has 7 major trim levels. Both have several engines and modifications to choose from, but if you are looking to maximize your muscle car with peak performance, you are better off with the Dodge Challenger. The standard version of both vehicles comes with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine delivering an impressive 300 horsepower and around 260 lb-ft of torque. The most powerful version of the Challenger includes a Supercharged High-Output HEMI® V8 engine available on the SRT Super Stock and Jailbreak outputting an astounding 807 horsepower. The Dodge Charger simply can’t compete capping out at 797 horsepower with its Supercharged 6.2L HEMI® High-Output SRT V8 engine
