  • With aggressive competition coming from Ford’s Thunderbird in 1957, the small production Corvette was built only as a convertible “Roadster.” The body styling remained unchanged, but it would mark the last year for single headlights. The Corvette would, however, receive further engineering enhancements, which most notably included a new 283-cubic inch powerplant offered in a variety of versions, including a dual four-barrel carburetor setup good for 245 horsepower.

Only 14 feet in length, the Corvette was constructed of a pressed steel infrastructure surrounded by a fiberglass body. With an intimidating front-end chrome grille that resembled a shark’s mouth, the Roadster ate up the competition. In fact, it was promoted as one of the fastest production cars of its time. Keeping up with its stunning good looks, the Corvette continued to supply a list of available amenities, including a radio, a parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, and beautiful 15-inch whitewall tires.

The magnificent iconic 1957 Chevrolet Corvette roadster featured here is finished and stunning tuxedo black with silver coves over the red interior and black folding convertible top. This incredible Corvette roadster is among one of the very best we’ve ever offered. We just completed an extensive inspection by a former NCRS judge who verified complete numbers matching throughout- as well as an incredible no-hit or repaired body. He concluded that it was among one of the very best he has ever inspected in his entire career. This exquisite Corvette roadster is tastefully fitted with vintage air conditioning and has recently been serviced and is now ready for its next caretaker. The level of restoration of this iconic 1957 Corvette is simply spectacular! An incredible opportunity to own one of the very best at an investment price! For the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiasts who understand and appreciate the investment potential of this iconic motorcar.

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months
