An Impressive 2020 Lineup

Drivers have eight distinct 2020 Dodge Challenger trims to select from, including SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye. Those wanting an all-wheel-drive option can choose between the SXT AWD and GT AWD trims. Various package options provide all the performance features, specialized heritage features, and upgrades that Dodge/SRT drivers have come to expect.

Dodge also gives drivers a wide array of engines to choose from, starting with the 3.6-Liter Pentastar V-6 for  SXT, SXT AWD, GT, and GT AWD trims. R/T trims include the impressive 5.7L HEMI V-8 while R/T Scat Pack trims bring with them the powerful 392 HEMI V-8. Drivers of the SRT Hellcat enjoy the supercharged 6.2-Liter V-8 HEMI, and those looking for ever more power will want to jump to the supercharged 6.2-Liter HO V-8 HEMI of the SRT Hellcat Redeye.

Finally, Dodge is adding to its extensive palette of in-your-face car colors. Gold Rush, a nod to the Challenger’s 50th Anniversary, joins other Dodge classics including Go Mango, F8 Green, TorRed, Sinnamon Stick, Hellraisin, and Frostbite.

50th Anniversary Edition Package

Dodge is offering the 50th Anniversary Edition package on R/T Scat Pack Pack Widebody, R/T Scat Pack, R/T Shaker, GT RWD Challenger trims. Also available on the R/T Scat Pack Widebody trim is the Shaker hood, the first Shaker scoop available in body color, delivering a nice contrast with the satin black hood and only available on V-8 trims.

Fiftieth-anniversary models will also receive trim specific Gold School painted alloy wheels that vary in design depending on which Challenger you select. Vehicles coming with Brembo brakes also include a new gunmetal finish on their calipers instead of the standard bright red.

The Challenger’s 50th edition is all about small details, including “50” logos on the rear spoiler, floor mats, dashboard, seats, and illuminated on the interior headlight housing. Those needing even more details to remind them they’re sitting in 50 years of a thoroughbred muscle car will enjoy sepia stitching on the steering wheel, seats, and dashboard, an interior featuring a unique yellow-themed gauge cluster, and real carbon-fiber accenting throughout.

Taking You Back to the ’70s

As a special nod to 1970, the original production year of the Dodge Challenger, Dodge is planning on producing only 70 vehicles in each color and trim combination with each one featuring a dashboard placard noting the car’s number out of the 70.
