This is the kind of muscle car recipe you love to see. Take a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle hardtop, add big block power, four-on-the-floor, a custom A/C interior, and wrap it all in a slick silver paint with Super Sport badging. And when the build is so fresh that there's less than 50 miles on it, well then, you know you have a winner.
The impressiveness of this classic starts with the respray of the factory-correct Chateau Slate silver. It's a daring color on a '60s classic because it has to compete with the chrome for all that shine. It means a serious investment in the deep clearcoat and very straight panels. That way, when the sunlight hits this coupe, there's a seamless shine that flows over the whole body, and connects this car to its iconic wide chrome bumpers. But the other reason for this shine is to hide some of this car's aggression. Without such great paint, you'd instantly notice how large the Coys wheels are - especially the 20-inch rear ones that tuck so cleanly under the Coke bottle rear fenders. It's a clear indication that there's a lot invested in the drivertrain...but more on that in a moment.
While this is an aggressive classic, it also has a premium side. That's ... Please ask for the full description.

While this is an aggressive classic, it also has a premium side. That's why the black vinyl roof on the exterior is a nice preview of the interior color. There have been plenty of investments to keep the door panels, dash, headliner, and insignia bucket seats feeling quite fresh. And because this has plenty of room for family and friends, you'll be glad to have features to keep them comfortable. This includes the retro-style AM/FM stereo with modern iPod connection, and air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a. But this is also very much a driver's machine. You'll slip behind the classic Chevy sports steering wheel, and this will give you a clear view of the full upgraded gauge panel that includes a large speedo and tach. Plus, the stick shift in the center console is just calling out for your right hand.
The engine bay looks like it could win awards all on its own. This fresh build has a butter-smooth firewall and slick inner fender walls that funnel your attention to the motor. And this V8 is the perfect mix of shine, bold paint, and an overall tidy setup. The air topper might say 396, but this is actually a larger 454 cubic-inch big block V8. And not only do you get more displacement, but also there are plenty of go-fast goodies, such as a Demon four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, Kar House large aluminum radiator, and Hooker Super Comp headers. You have complete control over this powerhouse and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. If this sounds like a terrific performance classic, then you'll also love the suspension upgrades like the four-link rear w/adjustable coilovers, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and modern performance tires.
This classic Chevelle hardtop is an enduring icon that has been freshly restored and upgraded to be a true stunner. That's why we know this deal will be leaving here soon. Call today!!!
