60K ORIG MILES, ERA CORRECT 360 V8, 3-SPEED AUTO, PWR BRAKES, ORIGNL DOCS, CLEAN

Big V8 power, low production numbers, and true muscle car fun is the calling card for the 1970 AMC AMX. And this example really maximizes your nostalgia by being a highly original example that even has exceptionally low actual miles and single family ownership.

This was the final year for the AMX as a separate model on its sporty short wheelbase. And of the short three-year production run, 1970 has its own distinct style. So you're already looking at quite a desirable machine for its history, and that's even before you dig into the details. This car is on an actual miles title. That's exceptionally rare to see over half a century later, but it does mean you get to showcase how this one has less mileage than some cars that are only a few years old. This is part of a larger package that impresses with its originality. The Golden Lime Metallic shows all the right signs of being the original applied by the Kenosha factory. It still has a good gloss and a metallic radiance, but the overall body is not perfect... and you don't really want it to be. Part of this car's charm is the areas that have earned respect over the years. And all the best sporty details are still in place. This ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

This includes the hood scoop, form-hugging chrome bumpers, crisp AMX emblems on the sail panels, bright dual exhaust tips, ribbed rockers, and Magnum 500 wheels with American Motors center caps. Plus, the unique rear end treatment of the shorter wheelbase is highlighted further by the black C-channel stripe that runs up the fastback profile.

The black stripe is also a preview of the black interior. As an original AMX, there's only room for two people, but they get plenty of space and comfort. Bucket seats, a center console, crisp door panels, and plush carpeting make this inviting. And details like the working courtesy lights and plenty of wood-like trim really make this a nice time capsule. Even the space-saver tire in the trunk is correct! So just like the exterior, it's not perfect inside, but it impresses with its vintage charm. And because originality is a high priority, the sale even comes with a proper factory panel to replace the AM/FM/CD stereo if you want to add a stock unit. Best of all, this AMX is a true driver's car. That's why you have great features like the classic sports steering wheel, a large speedo/tach, and Shift Command great selector that lets you take full control when you want.

Under the hood is AMC's big 360 cubic-inch V8. This has the right production date to be the original powerhouse for this low-mileage car. You can tell there have been some nice investments here, but nothing that takes it away from a stock style. You just have radiant blue block paint, tidy plug wires, and a clean overall presentation. Even the American Motors washer fluid bag is present. There is an updated Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and that's part of the upgrading that keeps this a strong-running coupe, but the included components also have a stock carb for those who cherish originality. This is a true classic muscle car that likes you to feel the road. Still, features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and wide Goodyear tires help keep this classic a proper cruiser.

This is the rare 1970 AMX that also has a cool sweepstakes history, and we even have photos, title documentation, and maintenance records to help tell that part of the story. So when you get this much power, rarity, and originality all offered for such a nice price, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
