This was the inaugural year for the Granada. Ford loved to compare these to Mercedes sedans. The interior is a highly stock presentation of a very luxurious Granada. After all, nothing says 1970s premium like tufted inserts and wood-like trim on the doors and dash. The largest motor you could get in the Granada's first year was Ford's 351 cubic-inch V8. And since this was optioned that way from the factory, it's great to still have the displacement under the hood today. While this looks quite stock, it hasn't missed out on maintenance. We even have receipts documenting essentials like a carburetor rebuild earlier this year and a rebuild of the three-speed automatic transmission in 2020. An updated dual exhaust even has glasspacks on it for a better V8 tune. It makes for an excellent cruiser, especially with features like power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
