235 CI, 3 SPEED MANUAL, VERY NICE RESTORATION, CAMPING PACKAGE, LOOK UNDENEATH!

This car is an affordable classic that truly impresses. After all, the 1951 Nash Ambassador sedan is already a rare and historic sight. So to find one this complete and nice is a treasure that looks far more expensive than its value price.

A Nash is a rare sight today, especially the full-size flagship like the Ambassador. But this one wants to impress for more than just likely being the only one to be at a car show. So the blue paint has a good gloss from a more recent application. And there are terrific classic details, like the Nash-Healey inspired front end, classic wheel covers, seductive hood ornament, and wraparound front trim. But the most attractive part of all is the thoroughly streamlined design with a distinctive fastback rear. You not only have rear fender skirts but also the front wheel wells are skirted, too. So you have an ultra-smooth look to the well-fitting body panels. This design also lets the lower full-length trim connect to the bumpers uninterrupted. So it looks like you have a bright chrome ring encircling the whole car.

The interior is absolutely an awesome place to share with vintage car lovers, and since this is a full-size sedan, there's plenty of ... Please ask for the full description.

The interior is absolutely an awesome place to share with vintage car lovers, and since this is a full-size sedan, there's plenty of room for everyone. It has a classic style, this has been redone to stay comfortable for more modern times. So you have a tasteful blue and gray two-tone cloth on the seats that's also repeated on the doors. The dash was upgraded to the exterior blue as part of the thorough restoration, but you have all the right classic pieces in place, right down to the Nash badge in the center of the steering wheel. And you'll appreciate details, like how both the dome light and AM radio still light up. Plus, these Ambassadors could fold the front seat flat to create a bed, and so this one comes with the window screen and sleeping bags to show off the camping package.

The highly correct and classic presentation continues under the hood. The 235 cubic-inch inline-six has a model year correct stamping. It fires up and runs with the feeling of good care. The three-speed transmission is a column-shifted unit to give you a vintage feel while also delivering proper control. It also has overdrive built in which was a rare option from the factory according to the consignor. As you look at the undercarriage photos, the clean color-matched presentation really tells you how comprehensive the restoration was. And as you check that out, you can also see how Nash was building a terrific soft ride suspension in the early 1950s.

This is the cool classic sedan that knows how to get to the show and arrive in style. That's a terrific package for this price, and so we know you want to hurry up and call today!
