REAL GS W/ 59K ORIG MILES, #'S MATCH 425 SUPER WILDCAT V8, AIR, CORRECT COLORS!

1965 was the final year before Buick introduced a redesigned Riviera. It was met with questionable changes. However, what this did was create a very desirable collector car. And there is no denying it, Buick '63-65 Rivieras are red hot right now, and '65 is the year to have. A real GS, with great color, big horsepower, and incomparable luxury make this a great example of GM's best luxury/muscle machine.

This beautiful 1965 Buick Riviera has an amazing pure appearance with its Silver Cloud paint that was refinished to a high level in 2003. The 2-door hardtop is all correct without any crazy stripes or unnecessary chrome work. Everything is simple yet elegant. Most of the chrome on the car was replaced with stock parts and is in great shape, as are the nicely done details on the hood. Distinguishing this as a 1965 Riviera, the taillights are located in the rear bumper which is brightly shined up and gives the car a little glitter. The front grille also shows a nice shine with the highly sought-after clamshell headlights, an iconic look that turns heads at every car show. The stance of the car is strong and we just love that this represents not only how a Riviera was back in '65, but also ... Please ask for the full description.

The stance of the car is strong and we just love that this represents not only how a Riviera was back in '65, but also how it should remain forever.

The beautiful GM styling continues inside the cabin. But where the exterior has had a respray, the interior appears all-original and retains all the best comforts of the Riviera's individual luxury. The button-top pattern on the seats and slick side panels are a classy design that are presented just as nicely today as in 1965. Everyone gets an individual bucket seat, how ahead of the curve was that?! Yes, there's a center console not only for the front, but the rear passengers get a stylized separation, too. You even have the option for added comfort with provisions for factory air conditioning, which has been recently converted to R134a refrigerant, along with power windows and a driver power seat. Just like the exterior, there's plenty of bright work, and the wood paneling provides a touch of class to counter the aggressive attitude of the exterior. You get the original dual-spoke steering wheel that gives you a commanding view of brushed stainless round gauge package. The overall driver-oriented cockpit reminds you this is a fantastic classic for cruising.

With a car this special, it's great to see the original, numbers matching Super Wildcat V8 under the hood. Buick knew that effortless performance was the key to the Riviera's success, so they made sure that there was plenty of torque on tap to move all that sheetmetal with ease. With 425 cubic inches, dual four-barrel carburetors (standard on the upgraded GS), and an advertised 360 horsepower and 465 pounds of torque, it gave this personal luxury car the ability to humble some pretty serious machinery out on the streets. The engine bay is clean and has some nice touches like the finned valve covers and coordinating ribbed air topper. The overall presentation under the hood points to nice investments in keeping this Buick running smoothly. And speaking of smooth operation, the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and Riviera's legendary supple ride make this the easy choice for weekend cruising day or night.

This unspoiled, 59,721-mile 1965 Buick Riviera GS comes with the original owner's manual and warranty card, along with extensive maintenance records. Looking for a way to stand out at your local car show? This is easily your answer. This car will not last long as it is getting harder and harder to find an unaltered Riviera, let alone a GS. Don't delay and call today!
