Nicely preserved, with fuel-injected V8 power, and all the comforts you could want, this 1992 Ford F-150 XLT Flare Side is the distinguished classic truck that's loaded and irresistibly affordable.
These F-150 Flare Sides were a great look a quarter-century ago as the styling mixed tough truck squareness and rounded aerodynamic touches. It resonated with pickup people. But since most trucks were used up as workhorses, we just don't see too many of these anymore. That's why this example is so exciting. It has a clean white look from quality care and good partial respray. We're told that this spent most of its life in the Winston-Salem areas, and the auto history info backs this up. While the mileage tells you this one has been driven - and we expect you'll want to drive it, too - you're looking at a well-respected southern truck. This has a terrific premium look with plenty of brightwork, like the chrome bumpers, grille, polished 15-inch wheels, and large dual exhaust tips. And the integrated side steps and flare side short bed look positively sporty. But as pretty as this pickup is, under the aerodynamic tonneau is a fully lined bed, and there's a proper tow hitch with wiring. So you ... Please ask for the full description.

The red interior is a nice way to show off the premium XLT-level trim interior. You get a bench seat finished in a nice textured cloth. It can sit three across, and there's also a fold-down armrest and power back bolstering for individual comfort. It's loaded with great features, including power windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, full gauges, cup holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning. Dual fuel tanks, cruise control, and an overdrive transmission make this a highway champ, and the radio is even upgraded to a modern AM/FM/CD unit with Bluetooth for the best road trip music.
Under the hood is a nice Ford legend. The 5.0-liter V8 has a history of stoutness, and modern fuel injection adds to the reputation. This same versatility is seen in the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It has been cared for and maintained correctly, and in fact, there was a tune-up this year. So it has that confident feeling you want in a modern classic truck. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs, and newer tires, and this is a great package for near or far.
Complete with an owner's manual, this is an affordable and impressive example of a rarely-seen Flare Side Ford. So don't miss your chance. Call now!
