    287k on original 2.7 and 5 speed. Sold the janky topper. Building a ladder rack this week. Swapped the wheels for some 17” Racelines with 31” nitto terra grapplers. Love this truck. More to come 827947FD-C488-482B-BDF0-DEED112E20FA.jpg

    Thanks everyone. Was my daily driver so it is a bit of a mall crawler.

    current mods:
    -Bug deflector
    -new carpet
    -new interior door panels
    -Bluetooth touch screen
    -fiberglass shift knob my friend made with excess material from repairing surfboards.
    -LED lighting for floor (wired to turn on when doors open)
    -new paint a few years ago


    Here’s my list of mods I want to do. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    -Tachometer
    -Bucket Seats
    -Rock sliders
    -Fog lights / light bar? (For driving during snowstorms at night) surprisingly common for me. the current eBay headlights are garbage.
    -Ladder Rack for canoes/surfboards
    -wheels for window cranks (stock ones MIA)

    So we completed the ladder rack and I drove it from idaho to nevada. Did about 65mph, pedal to the metal the whole way, with a dirt bike and a full load in the bed. I believe the engine is knocking. it ticks at idle and gets worse as I rev. I'm thinking of 5vz swapping. Anyone know any Toyota experts in reno, NV with some experience? TIA
