The only downside was that it took 2+ business days to get paid (probably in an attempt to combat the endemic fraud that exists in auto resale transactions generally). Nonetheless, no hold was put on the check when deposited and it cleared NP. Overall, it was a very good experience, primarily due to James who was responsive and kept me informed of the status during the entire (very organized) process.

Great experience at Town North Austin Nissan. No hidden charges. Very nice sales guy (Isaac). Isaac’s manager, (Carlos), and the finance manager were fantastic. Note: Definitely don’t go to the South Austin Nissan dealership on South IH35 as they had $3500 hidden charges for what they called EPP (Environmental Protection Plan) for unneeded things like tinted windows and nitrogen air in your tires. Mr. Edwin Pineda truly made me feel at home. He listed out the pros, cons, and always went a step further and showed me every feature the cars had like blind spot warnings, auto-braking for backing up, how to use the backup camera, and even potential concerns such as damage to the vehicle from temperature and water. I had my eyes set on a cheaper car but by the end of the tour it was obvious that I should spend another $5k just for the peace of mind provided by the Nissan Sentra SR.
