Refund Complications

I had cancelled my holiday on the 27th March 2023.
I was informed that my monies (refund) would take 35 days to go into my bank account.
I rang Haven after the 35 days has no monies had been put into the bank account. This was ongoing.
Haven said the money had bounced back as the the bank details had changed, that was 22nd May 2023.
I then gave them my updated bank account details. Haven said it would take 7 to 8 working days for the refund to be transferred into my account.
I rang Haven again on the 12th May 2023 as no monies again had been put into my bank.
As you can guess I have been ringing Haven and still I have not received any refund. They are OK in taking your money but appalling at refunding payment.
I rang on the 13th June to be told it is 14 working days not 7 to 8 working days. Now it is the 14th working day no monies in my account.
I have rang Haven holidays customer services & again I am waiting for that phone call, which I will not get, I will end up ringing them again.
They will fob me off with it will now take 14 days.
I am not happy how they are keeping this money which is due to me.

*3 MONTHS IS A COMPLETE JOKE*

A Low Life Fraudulent Company

I have been an Energy Consultant for many years until I retired and used to recommend Haven Power now Drax to customers on best price and great service. However Haven Power similar to many other energy companies changed from being an honest decent company to what can only be described as a fraudulent low life outfit they have now become. Many of my customers have been utterly ripped off by this unscrupulous organisation including myself.
A retail premises I operate uses very little energy around 500 K/W per year consequently Haven Power forced me off contracted rates onto out of contract rates something contrary to their licence obligations charging over £100 per month standing charges from 20p per day and 91p per K/W from 16p electricity costs. I am referring these fraudsters to the Ombudsman asking for them to be stopped from this sort of outrageous illegal activity. Please avoid this company at all costs.

Poor customer service

Haven Power service good whilst discussing a £40/50K pa energy contract-when we asked for a meter to be fitted to use existing power supply we were turned down on credit terms despite having paid our bill by direct debit. Also our Experian score today is 84 with a credit limit of £90K. Left phone message to contact me-
no reply - contract will be terminated

Gangsters

Agree with the other authors. Drax are rip-off merchants. We inherited a contract on a new property but didnt realise they ramped up the standing charge to force us off, as we are small users. After 3 months we now have a bill for over £600 for a communal staircase where the lights are off most of the time. Im suprised it isnt illegal to put the standing charge up to 4 or 5 times competitors to force us off.

Drax company disrespects grieving relatives

A Drax company. Focussed wholly on squeezing customers. My 87-year old Uncle died in February and Haven supplied his electricity. From February to August, Haven's over-inflated estimate bills for his empty house were paid within 2 days of receipt. Since the account was closed on 18th August, I have been trying and failing to get a return of the account's surplus £90 or so that this company owes his estate. Their latest bill gave me, as the customer, 2 days to pay it. Yet they don't pay up for 10 weeks and counting. Disrespectful of grieving relatives.

Bills are all over the place- you will…

Bills are all over the place- you will receive an envelope with 10 credit notes followed shortly by another letter with invoices. They can’t seem decide whether they are coming or going and prices are all over the shop. Customer services aren’t particularly helpful. Such a shame that when it comes to commercial energy use, there are so few honest and reliable companies out there!

Why no one does anything to regulate…

Why no one does anything to regulate those cowboys!
We've just took over a new site which we assume Haven power was supplying before.. we've got a email with an invoice to pay, of over 3 thousand pounds for 1 month consumption, we're not even inside yet.. there is not one bulb on. the place is shut off, I keep reading those Review from honest people having to deal with those companies whom seems to get away with this. STOP this nonsense grow an heart.

they are terrible i try to talk to them…

they are terrible i try to talk to them about a new connection and from such a big company they only have one person who deals with this it took me over a week to get hold of and speak to this person who wasn't very helpful. I think all their staff need training. was such a waste of my time wouldnt ever recommend them avoid these people at all cost terrible experince.

DRAX refuses to look after small business

This company does NOT look after existing small businesses, watch there rollover tariffs "you are a small user so we won't give you any discount" despite being a customer for over TEN years, gone downhill since name change from Haven Power

Worst utility company ever.

We are disgusted by the service we have received. Do not feel hopeful if someone messages you after you have published your review. They do not want to help. They just want you to take your previous review down. I will not back down. I feel like we have been treated so unfairly in the middle of a global pandemic too. I will take this as far as I can. Please any other company facing issues, I urge you to contact your local MP and the CEO for both Haven Power and Drax. I also encourage you to contact your local newspaper and the national ones. I can guarantee they will be interested in what you have to say.

Was just called by a man calling…

Was just called by a man calling himself Darren Crow who said worked on behalf of Haven Power asking for Electric meter details as lost on system. When I started to ask a question of who he was a why he was calling he got very rude. Confirmed he had got out details from the internet.

He refused to give me his telephone number or repeat the company he worked for. To me this seems like he was attempting to scam. On further investigation we found out that he worked as an agent for Advanced Collection Systems Limited who have in turn been employed by Haven Power. By subcontracting Haven Power have given myself a very bad impression. Why would someone refuse to give company details and phone number if working within the law. One can only draw your own conclusions from the above. We do not deal with companies that engage employees who act like this. You need to make your own decision. You are warned

After numerous attempts to reason with these people they have refuse to give us a price to terminate our contract and think stupidly to send a questionaire straight afterwards for my opinion ??PLEASE LET ME LEAVE

There should be a minus score for Drax formerly known as Haven

There should be a minus, absolute scammers. Please don’t sign up with these cowboys. My last monthly bill has a standing charge of £124 and usage of £25. The usage wasn’t even that as it was estimated and the doors were shut for the month. It’s a low usage business storage unit that until December was £30 per month inc usage. Drax said it’s down to out of contract charges but they can’t give me a contract as I don’t use enough electricity ! You couldn’t make it up.
I’ve had issues in the past when they were Haven power but this takes the proverbial. How are small businesses meant to survive dealing with these rip off merchants and how on earth are they allowed to get away with it

Terrible company

Terrible company, no contact, they just trebbled the cost overnight.
The term cowboys is too mild to decribe them.
Do not do business with them.
I agree with previous reviews that there should be negative stars for them.

The worst organisation I have ever felt…

The worst organisation I have ever felt with.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!
I now have a dept collection company after me for bills I do not owe. I have spoken to at least 15 different people and no one sorts anything out.
They literally will treble estimates and send you invoices for bills you do not owe.
Desperately trying to get out of contract with this company. Worst thing I ever did was to sign up to this organisation.
Zero stars would be given if it was possible.

BILLS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE

Very disappointed in the billing system ! Have spoken on quite a few occastions about this , Have also noted all my calls to haven power.
After the last late bill ,they are now asking do we have issues with other suppliers being late ...the answer is no ...we never have any issues with anyone else.As soon as we get the bill we pay ...how can you pay something when they dont send you the bill on time.So because i have opted out on paying direct debit as we were not having bills ,they have charged us 502.37 fee for late payment .. which is very unfair considering we dont get bills on time .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Wow.. words don’t express how bad this lot are. They Don’t answer the phone, letters arrive with return dates for me to send back the next day.
£10 a day standing charge for a new business whilst I wait to change suppliers. I dare not have the heating on . Avoid at all costs as everyone else has said.
