Used Vehicle: 2017 Hyundai Accent

If shopping for a compact used car, consider the 2017 Hyundai Accent. It has a respectable amount of room for passengers and a decent cargo space as well, whether going sedan or hatchback. The Hyundai Accent is a suitable option for those wanting no fuss on their daily drives.

Pros:

Some pros of the Hyundai Accent are the strong acceleration it offers, which makes for easy merging and passing. It also provides a comfortable ride, and the cabin is impressively quiet. The spacious interior feels upscale for the segment, which is always a plus, and the extended warranty reassures cautiousness for new buyers of an older model.

Performance:

For the 2017 Accent, there is only one engine option available, and that’s the four-cylinder engine that produces 137 horsepower. When driving it, the engine is very responsive, and it carries enough juice for those daily commutes. When it comes to transmissions, it is available with a six-speed manual or automatic.

On the road, the Accent delivers 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway in a manual transmission. In models that offer an automatic transmission, those numbers l drop by one mpg. Not so bad considering it provides almost the same as the manual.

Exterior:

The 2017 Hyundai Accent is functional. As for the addition of the more practical and added cargo capacity in the hatchback, it makes for a more significant statement than the Accent sedan. Both vehicles are great, but at 162 inches in length, the hatchback is 10 inches shorter than the Accent sedan, making it easier to park in tighter spaces and small garages.

Interior:

The Hyundai Accent seats up to five passengers, and the front seats offer ample room as well, so no one will feel cramped. The Accent Sport trim is the only one that can make the driving position more comfortable for taller folks as it features a telescoping wheel. All of the Accent models come with cloth upholstery.

Technology:

When it comes to technology, you’ll find that the Accent has a six-speaker audio system, a USB port, and satellite radio. Bluetooth is available in the vehicle, as well. So you’ll still be able to listen to music and charge your phone.

Safety:

For safety, the Accent comes with Active Front Head Restraints, which moves forward and upward in case of an accident that minimizes whiplash injuries. It also comes with a four-wheel disc brake, which offers stronger stopping power than models that come equipped with rear drum brakes. Those come standard on the Value Edition sedan and Sport hatchback.
