The Golf R’s 2.0L TSI®️ 4-cylinder engine produces 288 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque, enabling it to go from zero to 60 in just five seconds. Its 7-speed DSG®️ automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport modes shifts faster than a manual. 4MOTION®️ all-wheel-drive reserves power in the front wheels until it detects power to the rear axle is necessary to navigate challenging terrain. 

Five available driving modes let you customize each ride to your liking. These modes include Eco, Comfort, Normal, Race, and Custom.
