As President of the Harley Davidson Club Nederland, host of the Super 

Rally 2007, I welcome you here in Bussloo, the Netherlands. 

Many things have been done to make your stay pleasant and to provide 

you with opportunities for entertainment. The camping ground of 

30 hectares is adjacent to a lake. Our camping site is situated in the 

central part of the Netherlands, which makes it possible to visit 

many interesting places within reasonable time. 

The Netherlands have a lot more to offer than just well-known 

Amsterdam! The Hoge Veluwe (5500 hectares), the largest 

wildlife park of North-West Europe is really a must-see. Another 

location we strongly recommend is the Deltawerken, an immense 

construction that defends our country (of which the largest 

part is below sea level) against the ever-rising and many times 

ferocious North Sea. It is really an amazing, breath-taking work 

of engineering. 

For those who don’t want to leave the camping site, there is 

still enough to see - and to do. For them we have a high-quality 

program with all kinds of interesting possibilities. 

The Super Rally is an occasion to meet friends and to party with 

people with common interests. Well, almost everything is possible 

here. We all know, of course, the true and in fact the only purpose 

of this Rally: the Harley Davidson, the machine that attracts us to 

this location. Each year many of us look forward to these 

meetings, and ride sometimes thousands of kilometers to be 

there. We are really proud to host you this time. 

We are a foundation, with a four-member board, supported by 

clusters of volunteers of the Harley Davidson Club Nederland and 

several other motor clubs we know. Together approximately 500 

people, who made and still make the organization of this Rally 

possible. 

This is the place to thank all those 

nice men and women for their most 

appreciated efforts. Without them 

there could be no Rally at all. 

See you at the Rally and enjoy your 

stay in Bussloo.

Harley Super Rally 2007 

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all participants coming 

to the beautiful municipality of Voorst, although only in writing 

at this moment of course. At the end of May 2007, it is time for 

another real Dutch Super Rally. 

This time, the Rally will be held at the Bussloo recreation 

park, located beautifully within our green municipality in 

the heart of the Stedendriehoek. This is a great area and 

perfect for a comfortable stay for all participating Harley 

fans, both individuals and motor groups. A relaxing green 

environment, easily accessible through surrounding 

roads. 

According to all indications I trust it will be a colourful 

international gathering, due to the variety of motorbikes 

as well as people. This is what the Harley community 

stands for. The Bussloo area is broad and perfectly suited 

for all participants to see and to be seen. 

Both the Stichting FH-DCE Super Rally 2007 and the 

operational services as well as the local authorities have 

prepared this Rally well and therefore I am counting on 

a pleasant and successful happening. Especially if the 

weather gods are well-inclined towards us! 

Last but not least: I hope that this event in Bussloo will 

be a very successful one for each and all of you. This way 

the 2007 Rally will be Super indeed.

Trailer Trash Tremblers (NL) 14.30 - 16.00 

These dutch rednecks play a mix of styles like 

country, rock ‘n roll, hillbilly and southern 

rock. Country fueled rock ‘n roll is what they 

call it themselves. With Clayton “the axeman” 

Curtis on vocals/guitar, Johnny Trash Taylor 

on drums, Billy Bob Hackensack on bass and 

Cuzin Cletus on vocals/guitar, these boys will 

give you a real new “rawk ‘n roll” experience! 

The Riplets (NL) 16.30 - 17.30 

The Riplets, a great all-girl punk-rockband from 

Rotterdam. The lyrics of their own songs are 

about daily life, fun, holidays, summer, love and 

(ex)boyfriends. These girl have an impressive 

‘live playing’ history. They opened for Sum 41 in 

a sold-out 013 in Tilburg and played at a variety 

of festivals during the summer. Besides Holland, Belgium, 

Germany and Denmark, they have been to America with a 

successful tour on the East Coast and Mid-West. 

The Juke Joints (NL) 18.00 - 19.30 

The past 22!! years, Holland’s best-known bluesrockers The 

Juke Joints have captured audiences all over the world with 

their high-octane rock n’rollin’blues. They have shared stages 

with the best that blues has to offer, such as: Walter trout, Van 

Morrison, Bonnie Raitt and George Thorogood & The Destroyers, 

to name just a few! So, it is obvious that you can expect a 

great live bluesrockin’gig from these dutch bluesrockers! 

White Cowbell Oklahoma (CAN) 20.30 - 22.00 

Be honest, how many times you see a band with 4 guitarists? 

add a bass player, drummer, keyboard player and someone 

who gives the cowbell a kick in its ass? That’s right! Not often! 

Well let us introduce you to the ass-kicking southern fried 

boogie rock with sexy ladies, bizarre onstage debauchery, plus 

acts of filth and destruction. Gamblin’women and cars and 

that translated into music, fun and show!

Brandishing blues vocals rooted in the Texas soul tradition, 

Dede Priest has been honored by comparisons to many 

great vocalists, including Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Janis 

Joplin, and Billie Holiday. Referred to as a “modern day blues 

queen”, Dede is powerful, soulful, and emotionally intense. 

The Julian Sasband 18.00 - 19.30 

The Julian Sasband is one of the leading 

blues rockbands in the Netherlands. 

They have released 9 cd’s, 1 dvd and done 

an awful lot of gigs. 

This is Netherlands own guitar hero, a 

man playing the blues straight from the 

hart. An original talent and a magnificent 

performer. 

Peter Pan Speedrock (NL) 21.00-22.15 

Eindhoven’s powerrock-trio Peter Pan Speedrock finds the 

connection with international ramrockers like Nashville 

Pussy(usa), The Hellacopters(swe) and Gluecifer(no), and 

they have one thing definitely in common: a pre love for the 

old AC/DC. 

With 10 albums since 1997 and an international worldwide 

tourhistory these fastest musicians of the lowlands still give a

The John Hayes Project is the creative solo outlet for John in connection

grooves of Mother’s Finest. 

The John Hayes Project is

Blues-rock power trio Rob Orlemans & Half Past Midnight has inspired 

enthusiasm and loyalty among fans around the world through their

a frequent headliner at Blues festivals

a growing audience for their live 

performances in the USA and several

Take Dany Lademacher, the guitarist who played in Herman Brood’s 

Wild Romance and wrote a number of hits, like Saturday Night and 

Dope Sucks, add the great bass-player 

Ivo Severijns and a fierce it up with drummer Ramon Rambeaux(both 

ex Wild Romance). 

Complete the above with the most driven singer/songwriter of the 

lowlands, Dirk Vermeij and the result is a great “live” pop/rock band

The CCR-Revivalband (NL) 15.00 - 16.00 

Large acquaintance hits such as ‘I put a spell on you’ and ‘Suszy Q’ 

won’t be missing on the setlist of this great tribute-band, but also

To be short; the purpose of The Bruceband is to create the same vibe 

and mood that you only can experience at a real live gig of Bruce 

Springsteen and the E-Streetband. The voice and looks of singer Robert 

Philippi is scary similar to Bruce himself. Together with the rythmsection 

this band brings you the greatest Springsteen hits like; Glory Days, 

Born in the USA an The River. 

The Bootleg Doors (NL) 16.30 - 17.30 

The Bootlegs Doors, a mix of five professional musicians, selected 

because of their musical quality. The Bootleg Doors perform an 

identically reproduced ‘live’ concert from the original Doors, up to 

and including clothing, hair and stage antics, add to that the original 

instruments (Fender bass, Vox en Gibson SG guitar), and you get an 

authentic see and feel concert that swings you back to the 60’s. The

1997, a good year. A band called Red Stuff is playing 70’s music, 

including Whole Lotta Love. They are pressured by their audiences to 

play more Led Zeppelin songs, and the tribute band Physical Graffiti is 

born. A sensational performance on Dutch national television brings 

them to tour all over around Europe. A Physical concert is not easily 

forgotten. The original is no more but the legacy is proudly carried by 

Physical Graffiti. 

DJ’s Fatboy & Slim (NL) 20.00 - 01.00

Mink is a ‘modern rock’band from Friesland, Northern 

Netherlands. In 2005 the band won the prestigious Arrow Rock Award. 

Mink is named after singer Minke Adema, a real ‘tough cookie’with a 

major passion for her music and a heart of gold. Serious interest came 

from America, so Minke has been to the states to make a videoclip and 

to meet vip people from the top of the record company’s. This is one 

band we are gonna hear a lot about!!!

Boaz, Thijs, Ferry en Guido are around 18 of age, but they make music 

like people did 30 years ago: the way it should be! With passion, fire 

and a lot of fun: that is what it’s all about in rock ‘n roll, right? With 

de classical line up of a rough voice, heavy guitarwork, bass, drums 

and a howling Hammond Organ, these 

boys make heavy rock ‘n’roll with a funky 

basis. They opened for bands like Van Dik 

Hout and Di-rect and King Jack is ready 

for the Netherlands. Ready for de Kuip 

and the Arena. But is Holland big enough 

for King Jack? 

Bang Bang Bazooka (NL) 19.00 - 20.30 

World-famous in The Netherlands, 4 guys who are playing eighties 

rockabilly inspired by country&blues. When Bang Bang Bazooka hits 

the stage you can really come loose and dance till ya dropp. Real music 

played from the heart and soul. With a new album released this year 

you will sure hear them again after the SuperRally! 

The Neukteugels (NL) 21.30 - 22.30 

The Story of “The Neukteugels”: 5 boys who were so loved that 

everyone spitted on them. Especially when lying on the floor, beaten 

up and drunk of shandy. Their screaming was horrible at night. People 

closed windows and doors, afraid that the devil himself would collect 

them. What eventually happened to them? No 

one knows. 1 thing is sure: no one loved them 

and no one since heard from them that night. 

Although... There are some people who still 

hear their noise, specially in places where you 

can get beer..... You are warned!!! 

Captain Gumbo (NL) 23.00 - 00.30 

Captain Gumbo is playing Cajun and Zydeco music, the music from 

Louisiana. In this state in the south of the US of A, the french colonists 

settled ages ago, and these ‘cajuns’ brought their own exciting dancemusic 

with, fiddles, triangles and high-pitched voices. With respect 

for this tradition Captain Gumbo plays these thrilling music since 1987 

before public al over Europe.

The Red Shots are 

named after the village 

Red Shoot, Louisiana, 

USA. They will bring 

you a mix of rockabilly, 

boogie, swing, country 

& blues. These four 

musicians bring all those 

music styles together in 

their own sound. 

With lots of rhythm and 

fun it is hard to keep your feet on the ground. and you don’t have to 

cause this is music to dance on! And that’s the intention!!!! 

Dicky Greenwood (NL) 17.30 - 18.30 

Dicky Greenwood is one of the top artists in the Dutch blues scene. 

As a guitarist he is clearly influenced by artists like Ronnie Earl, 

Albert Collins and Jimmy Johnson. And also singers like Al Green, 

Gregg Alman and Luther Allison were a great inspiration while developing 

his musical skills. Out of this variety of blues-and soul styles 

Dicky created his very own, 

soul-based blues style. An 

American reporter wrote 

in 2005 about Dicky: “He 

may be Dutch, but what 

you hear is nothing less 

than a Southern Soul singer 

- and one who can play 

expressive blues guitar!”

with a unique combination of a never shown before, breathtaking 

combination of dance and acrobatics on stilts with a length of 70 cm.

these artists put on their costumes, there is new astonishing life. 

The Cowpokes 

Easy, unplugged music, prepared in the old American way: that’s The 

Cowpokes. In their own words, these guys play ‘Folk, Blues, Country & 

Beyond’ and of course the last word is what it’s all about... 

Beautiful traditionals, often influenced by the Irish immigrant music, 

played in their own style. They play without any amplification or 

- rather - with their own small but excellent sound system. Standing 

around the great membrane-microphone they get their audience 

thrilled with the right feel, sound and looks of the Southern States 

of America. It’s also possible to play 100% acoustically, and ‘mobile’ 

- at BBQ’s, parties or streetparades. In special cases, Chicken Pie can 

perform as a duo ór be upgraded to a complete 4-piece stringband 

with a stand-up bass. 

There’s some splendid ballads, sung in parts, but also the well known 

jigs and reels, originating from Irish Folk music. You’ll hear a hearttearing 

Blues with a screaming mouth-harp, and then again some 

up-tempo Bluegrass with a drawn out banjo.

Dear Harley lovers, 

Events like this Super Rally can only be a success if all participants and visitors 

do what is necessary to make their stay a nice, happy get - together. Enthusiasm, 

togetherness, and the love for a shared hobby are the ingredients for a fantastic 

Whitsun weekend. 

To make this happen, we do not only need a good organization, but also the perfect 

cooperation of everyone involved. I am happy that from the very first moment 

we started the preparations, the organization of the Super Rally 2007 and the 

police have transparently and constructively cooperated to make it succeed. 

Our common goal was a real party for all members of the HD - community. 

Of course there are rules, and of the course the police will see to it that 

they will be obeyed. But these rules simply underline what all those 

thousands Harley lovers really want: a Super Rally in a nice and safe 

atmosphere. 

Many police officers volunteered for duty during this Super Rally, an 

indication that we too are happy to see these beautiful machines and 

their sometimes very characteristic riders, and want to feel the whole 

atmosphere of this event. But of course we do 

not forget our core duty: keeping our eyes wide 

open and maintaining the rules. 

I wholeheartedly share your wish for a fantastic 

Super Rally!

Police regulations 

The police maintains the rules of the law. This means that during the 

Super Rally site and the camping site will be policed as a normal part 

of the police district. 

Examples of actions that will not be tolerated 

• Violation of traffic regulations, e.g. biking without helmet, 

speeding, and so on. 

• Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs 

(be it on or outside the Super Rally site). 

• Use and/or trafficking of drugs. 

• Use of violence, e.g. damaging of properties, 

ill - treatment and threatening of persons. 

We have an “instant - punishment”policy: trespassers will be fined 

on the spot or, in more severe cases, turned over to the Law. 

Visitors who want to lodge a complaint or want to see a police officer, 

may turn to the Information Point of the Super Rally.

Rules & RegulAtions Rules & RegulAtions 

Breaking the rules and refusing to follow instructions issued by the 

volunteers, government staff and aid organisations will result in the 

immediate removal of your person from the SR-compound. In case of 

criminal behaviour, the perpetrator will be handed over to the police. 

Before entering the SR-compound you may be subjected to (intermittent) 

inspections by government personnel. In case of infringement 

you risk being barred from the SR-compound. 

On forced (premature) removal due to the abovementioned 

causes, refund of the entrance fee is not possible. 

Entrance 

Entrance is only allowed with a valid ticket. Entrance fee is 

60 euro for every visitor, regardless of the duration of the visit. 

Should the event be terminated prematurely without fault to the 

organisation, the tickets will not be reimbursed. Tickets are put 

in place by the organisation. If you remove the ticket yourself, 

it loses its validity. 

Compound 

You are not allowed to enter the SR-compound with: 

- Cars, trucks, trailers, caravans and camper vans 

(other than professionally) 

- Non HD bikes 

- Pets 

- Weapons 

- Drugs 

You are not allowed entry in the festival area on the 

SR-compound 

- With motorised vehicles 

- Carrying alcohol in bottles, cans or wholesale packaging. 

Alcohol must be transferred to plastic cups before entering. 

- Outside opening hours. 

- On leaving the SR-compound, the entrance ticket must 

show that bike and rider belong together. 

Campsite 

The SR-campsite is open from Thursday 24 May 12:00 pm to 

Monday 28th May 12:00 pm. Upon arrival and set-up of the 

campsite, you will receive instructions that must be followed. 

Because of the licensing regulations and to ensure the 

safety of all visitors, is it is not allowed to: 

- put up tents larger than 36m

- border off campsites with ribbon or other material. 

Markings put up by visitors will be removed immediately. 

The use of (beer) taps, pressurised barrels and beer kegs 

is not allowed. 

- Sell alcohol or other items. 

- Tinker with bikes in a way that is damaging to the environment 

(for example changing oil). 

A special area for that has been set up in the 

Kneuterstraat (mechanical area of maintenance). 

- Play amplified music, other than that on offer by 

the organisation SR 2007. 

- Generate own power (aggregate) 

- Make loud noise or music between 12:00pm and 07:00am 

- Light open fires. 

Most of the SR-compound is located in a beautiful nature area 

with recreational purposes. Organisation SR 2007 therefore 

requests everyone to keep the campsite clean. Put garbage in 

the allocated bins. Garbage is collected daily from the campsite 

grounds. 

Traffic 

Everyone must adhere to the general rules of traffic. The police 

will see to this very strictly. On the public road, traffic rules 

continue to apply. Driving without a helmet is not allowed, for 

example. 

A maximum speed of 10 km/h applies to the entire compound. 

The SR-compound is mostly a one-way system. 

We did not create these rules and regulations to annoy you. 

We are all bound to the licensing rules and regulations and aim 

to create a pleasant, relaxing party for all of us. To enable that, 

it was inevitable to list the above.

Super Rally 2007 

Hello Bikers, 

As we know from our own experience, besides your Harley, 

your friends & a place to sleep, the next important thing is 

food & drinks. So let us tell you how we think to take care 

of that at the Super Rally 2007: 

Drinks 

of course cold beers from the draft. Soft drinks in various 

tastes. We thought about the ladies (and guys) who like 

to drink wine as well. Being on the road and exploring the 

limits of your body during a Super Rally, requires a bit of 

healthy action as well. So we have the vitamin-juice bar 

for fresh juices and fruit cocktails. We also have a cocktail 

bar for mixed drinks so you can get your shot of JD as well. 

Freshly brewed Coffee is also available throughout the day. 

Food 

of course the snacks department is present. Besides 

French (Dutch) fries, bratwurst and other fine Dutch snacktreats, 

we also offer from various stands: Pancakes ( good 

supplement for breakfast) , Sandwiches, Pasta, Chicken, 

Various kinds of meat, Hot Dogs, Vegetarian food, Pizza, 

Fish, etc. Special advice: visit The Girls of Fun, with their 

sexy sauces. Very special kinda Hamburger. Breath taking 

service here! 

Near the Motor Saloon which is open until 04:00 hrs, you 

can get your last shot of snack before hitting the sack. 

We know drinking beer makes one hungry.

Yes we managed to fit in a real restaurant, where you can eat 

from real plates, with knives and forks. Food will be presented on 

a buffet containing: Home made Marinated Spare Ribs - Chicken 

- all kinds of meat - Juicy Steaks, Asian Food, Fresh Fish, various 

vegetables etc. High quality food, we guarantee! 

We also will serve continental breakfast in the restaurant 

in the morning between 07:00 and 10:30. Ham & Eggs 

for instance. 

Ice-Cream 

YES !!! We sell ice cream. Even bikers eat it. We know 

(and we like it too) 

Supermarket: 

An extra service for our guests: we erected a small 

supermarket at the camping-site near the toilets & 

showers. Here you can buy the little things you forgot 

to take with you. You can also buy freshly- baked bread, 

cans of beer and soft drinks and all kind of daily things 

you didn’t bring yourself. 

Extra service from the supermarket 

When something is not available and you order it before 

12:00 (noon), it will be in the super market for you at 

17:00 hrs. Are you beginning to like us already? Good. 

Prices 

Yes we will serve high quality food. Prepared according 

the high standards of current HACCP regulations. But be 

sure we will keep prices at a friendly basis. (Like we did 

with the ticket prices)

the Netherlands. One of the biggest Harley-Davidson Rally’s 

in Europe, This year organised by the Harley-Davidson Club 

Netherlands, member of the Federation of Harley-Davidson Clubs 

Europe. A Crew more than 500 volunteers is ready for you. 

Are you ready for the party, for this “one of a kind” 

Harley-Davidson Rally? 

FH-DCE Super Rally ® 

Every year at a different place, organised by a different 

member of the FH-DCE, This is the most European Harley- 

Davidson Rally that you can imagine. Riding a Harley- 

Davidson is meeting new friends, discover other countries 

and cultures. And this is all packed in the FH-DCE Super 

Rally®. It goes from North to South, East to West, and 

every year a surprise. From the salmon in the North, to 

the pasta and cookies in the South. When you are on 

the road going to the rally and coming closer to it, more 

and more Bikers you will meet, and everyone has his one 

story. That’s what makes the FH-DCE Super Rally® really 

Super. But talking about FH-DCE Super Rally®, were does 

this name come from? 

To answer that 

question, we have 

to go many years 

back. I contacted 

Robby Perkussy, 

because I knew he 

did some investigation 

years ago for 

a motor magazine, 

thanks Robby. 

We go back to the sixties. Harley-Davidson Clubs from the 

Netherlands, Germany and Belgium meet eachother at 

Harley-Davidson Rally’s. One of the most popular Rally’s 

was the Pinkster Rally. The first one was organised by 

H-D C Utrecht in 1964. (This Club changed his name in to 

Harley-Davidson Club the Netherlands). The Pinkster Rally 

became bigger and bigger and so did the program. 

After the Pinkster Rally in 1973 they changed the name 

into FH-DCE Super Rally, why is not very clear. Possible 

that a French guy promised a Superrrrrrrrrrr Rally for 1974 

because it should be at Paris France, but they cancelled 

it just one week before. The first FH-DCE Super Rally® in 

fact, was not so Super it was a “No Rally”. 

In 1975 was the first Super Rally®. Kastelree Belgium, It 

was not as big as it is now, but it was organised with the 

same goals and idea’s as we still use. 

The Presidents meetings were at the Rally’s, in 1977 the 

clubs separated the President meetings from the Rally 

and the Presidents meet eachother in November as is 

now. 

Organise a FH-DCE Super Rally® is a serious matter, it 

needs preparation, time and knowledge. And there is 

always a risk for the organisation; the wheater is the 

biggest factor, and you cannot make it right for everyone, 

some go for the music, others just for the party, but we 

all go to meet each other and to have a nice trip. More 

H-D Clubs joined the yearly Presidents meeting, and it 

was necessary to get more organised. At the meeting in 

Austria 1991 the H-D Clubs organised themselves into the 

FH-DCE, Federation of Harley-Davidson Clubs Europe.

Since 1998 the Federation is an official E.E.I.G., a 

registrated European organisation with a working office, 

based on volunteers. The Federation of Harley-Davidson 

Clubs Europe has now 65 members with a total of more 

then 30.000 bikers. And we are still growing. With a 

new Europe new H-D clubs will join and that brings new 

challenges. 

So there is more to discover, and more possibilities to 

make friends, is that not Super? And who knows maybe 

sometimes we are making a party at the red square and 

Staling turns in his grave. But first this one and I know for 

sure that the Dutch make it SUPER.
