Description

Why did Samuel Colt produce only pistols and Oliver Winchester only rifles? The sacred lore of firearms legend holds that these two giants of the Industrial Revolution, after a tentative foray into each other’s territory, sat down and forged a “gentleman’s agreement” that there would be no further incursions.
This Colt & Winchester auction features over 140 firearms for collectors and arms enthusiast! Also includes rare ammunition and other collector items.
This auction will be online and live on Saturday March 27th. Preview will begins at 10am, auction to commence at 12 noon EST.

1970 Colt Metropolitan MKIII .38 Special 4" Blued Officer's Model Revolver

Serial #J14558. This heavy-barrel duty gun version of the Official Police. It was produced from 1969 to 1972 only. Features blued finish, 4" barrel, fixed serrated ramp front and frame notch rear sights, standard markings on the heavy barrel, serrated trigger, and wide checkered hammer. Checkered wood grips with the silver medallions. This MK3 revolver does show a few minor wear blemishes in the finish but otherwise appears to be in great condition for its age and duty.

Serial #46904J. The Colt Trooper is a medium frame, double-action revolver featuring a six-round cylinder, chambered .357 Magnum caliber cartridges. Designed as a lighter and handier alternative for law enforcement agencies as well as civilians. This revolver features a 4" barrel, polished nickel finish, and walnut checkered wood target style grips with silver tone medallion. Also features a serrated backstrap, adjustable rear notch sight and serrated ramp front sight. Standard markings. Small light blemished in the back of the grips and light wear in the finish on the top of the backstrap but otherwise appears to be in excellent condition! This firearm has been well kept and maintained by a veteran collector.

This iconic lever action rifle features a 26" round blued barrel, wood crescent butt stock, wood foregrip, metal buttplate, rear adjustable iron notch sight, and fixed front blade sight. Finish appears to be original in 90% range on the barrel, and 40% on the receiver. Standard markings are crisp and clear. A few minor dings in the stock, but grain and polish still appear to be in excellent condition. Overall this rifle is in excellent condition for its young age! This firearm has been well kept and maintained by a veteran collector.

1908 Winchester model 1894 .32-40 WCF Lever Action Sporting Rifle

Serial #393680. One of the most famous hunting rifles of all time. This iconic lever action rifle features a 26" octagon blued barrel, wood crescent butt stock, wood foregrip, metal buttplate, sling-D-rings, rear adjustable buckhorn sight, and fixed front blade sight (highlighted with pale yellow paint). Finish shows light surface rust. Standard markings are legible but slightly worn. 7 notches in the lever trigger guard presumably accounts for each downed meal. This rifle does show signs of use, but still in great condition for its age. This firearm has been well kept and maintained by a veteran collector.

1919 Winchester model 1892 .218 BEE Saddle Ring Lever Action Carbine Rifle

Serial #874092. This John Browning design was first developed to replace the larger frame 1886 in pistol caliber rounds. This particular rifle was later retrofitted to accommodate the .218 BEE caliber. This rifle features a 20" blued carbine barrel, blued full length magazine tube, blued receiver, & blued metal buttstock. No front barrel ring on this model. Beautiful grain Walnut wood stock and foregrip (hairline crack in bottom center). Marbles rear notch sight, and fixed blade front sight. Clear and crisp markings on the the tang. Barrel is stamped "218 BEE" and lightly faded. Finish appears to be in the 85% range, light rust on the buttstock. This rifle is quite unique! This firearm has been well kept and maintained by a veteran collector.

Serial #684978. This John Browning design was first developed to replace the larger frame 1886 in pistol caliber rounds. This particular rifle is calibered for the 25-20 WCF. This rifle features a 20" blued carbine barrel, blued full length magazine tube, blued receiver, & blued metal buttstock. No front barrel ring on this model. Beautiful grain Walnut wood stock and foregrip. Marbles rear notch sight, and fixed blade front sight. Clear and crisp markings. The finish on the receiver is about 50%, while the barrel is in the 85% range. Barrel does show some rust and pit spots, however still appears to be in good condition. This firearm has been well kept and maintained by a veteran collector.

Serial #160294. This Super Rare Gallery gun is the Premier Grade, top of the line 121 gallery gun manufactured by Remington in the late 30's to early 50's. Very limited Premier Grades were produced on special order during the run of the 121's. This is one of them! This gorgeous gun features a fully factory engraved receiver, engraved trigger guard, engraved Redfield scope rail, and engraved front ramp sight! Scene on the left side of the receiver is hunting dogs & doves. Right side of the receiver scene is rabbits and a squirrel. Features a 24" round barrel, upgraded checkered walnut wood stock with pistol grip. Stamped on the left side of the barrel near the receiver "CXX" " .22 Short Long Or Long Rifle". Right side is stamped "$ 160294". Top center of barrel is stamped with the Remington Arms Co. information. Butplate is checkered metal with "Remington" logo. Ribbed wood forearm with sunburst type carving at the rear. Tube fed magazine. Crossbolt safety. Sling D-rings installed on the stock and barrel-magazine ring. Redfield matching engraved scope rail with flip up rear notch sight. Supramar Marburg B.Nickel 2-1/2x52 Scope, includes leather lens caps. This show-stopping historic rifle shows very little wear and is blue booked valued above $11,000.00!

1952 Colt Cobra .32 Caliber New Police 1st Issue Cobra RARE 4" Revolver w/ Colt Archive Letter

Serial #12904LW. This early model first snake gun features a 4" barrel, blued finish, Colt logo checkered brown synthetic grips, and notch and ramp sights. Second style hammer - see pictures. 1968 Colt Advertising; "A rugged little six shot weapon with an extra large grip for plain clothes men, and women who prefer a lightweight handgun." This revolver does show a few minor blemishes in the right side of the barrel but otherwise appears to be in great condition! Colt Archive Letter shows shipment to General Merchandise Co in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 23, 1952.
